Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). At them we will begin looking at 1 Peter. The theme will be Resident Aliens.
The service will be followed by a Hunger Lunch in the hall starting at about 12 noon. On this occasion funds raised will go towards Christian Aid.
There will be a joint service at 6.00 pm in StAB to mark the beginning of Christian Aid Week. It is organised by North Berwick and District Association of of Churches.
2) Donating to Christian Aid
I encourage you to consider giving a gift to enable Christian Aid to continue their important work. There are two simple ways to give. Either go online and donate at https://www.christianaid.org.uk/appeals/key-appeals/christian-aid-week? . Or bring your gift to church. There will be Christian Aid envelopes at both doors. Put your money in one and leave it in the offering plate or hand it in to the Church office.
3) Majorie Hannah
Marjorie died on 7 May at the nursing home in Galashiels she moved to last summer. We remember her gift of music and her can-do attitude. We ask God’s peace for her family.
4) ASM (Annual Stated Meeting) Sunday 21 May, 11.50am
The ASM will be held after the 10.30 service next Sunday. Keith will report on the 2022 church accounts.
5) Church Weekend 3,4 June

6) Tree replacement
The two trees beside the church are diseased. In the photo you’ll see the one on the right has almost no leaves, the other one is heading in the same direction. Unfortunately they cannot be ‘cured’. They will be removed this weekend and will soon be replaced by two new trees.
7) Prayer Gathering
Each Wednesday on Zoom between for 30 minutes starting at 7 pm.
